Our history

Page Aspen Core began in 2019 when our founder, after assisting two family members through poorly documented hardware wallet setups, recognised that most custody guidance available online assumed a level of technical confidence that ordinary holders did not possess.

We opened a small review office in Busanjin-gu, Busan, offering structured custody checklists and confidential review sessions for individuals who preferred paper backups, hardware wallets, and personal cold storage over exchange custody. What started as occasional appointments grew into a steady practice serving holders across South Korea and clients abroad who maintain Korean residency or family ties here.

We have never sold hardware, managed keys, or operated as a financial intermediary. Our work has always been advisory and documentary — helping people see their own arrangements clearly.

What we do

We conduct private review sessions for individuals and small family groups who hold digital assets in offline wallets. Our advisers walk through seed phrase storage, backup distribution, hardware wallet hygiene, passphrase practices, and successor readiness.

We write custody checklists tailored to common holder situations and publish field notes in our journal. We do not provide investment advice, execute transactions, or request access to private keys.

Our approach

Every session follows a written scope agreement. We ask questions; you describe your setup. We take notes and deliver findings in writing. We remain brand-neutral regarding hardware manufacturers and wallet software.

Confidentiality is central to our practice. Session notes are stored in locked filing cabinets at our Busan office and destroyed according to our retention schedule unless you request otherwise in writing.

The team

Soo-jin Park — Senior Custody Adviser. Former bank operations manager with twelve years of document control experience. Leads treasury custody reviews and successor briefings.

Min-ho Chae — Custody Adviser. Electrical engineer by training; specialises in hardware wallet planning sessions and metal backup verification walkthroughs.

Yuna Han — Office Manager. Handles scheduling, client correspondence, and checklist maintenance. First point of contact for new inquiries.

Values

  • Clarity over complexity — We explain custody arrangements in plain language your successor can follow.
  • Neutrality — We recommend practices, not products.
  • Confidentiality — Your session details remain between you and your assigned adviser.
  • Honesty — If we identify a gap, we say so directly, even when the conversation is uncomfortable.

Community

We participate in occasional local seminars on personal record-keeping and estate documentation in Busan. We do not sponsor conferences or affiliate programmes.
